'The players will be focused despite midweek party' - The Inside Line on Bristol Rovers' opponents Barnsley

Bristol Rovers take on Barnsley on Saturday in their final game of the season in League One.

Barnsley head to the Memorial Stadium sitting in second place in the table having won promotion to the Championship on Tuesday night when Portsmouth were beaten by Peterborough United.

Ahead of the game we spoke to Barnsley Chronicle sports editor Doug O'Kane who reports on the Tykes.

Here is the inside line from him.

'I am open to offers' - Bristol Rovers legend Ian Holloway wants to get back into management amid Plymouth Argyle links

What sort of mindset do you think Barnsley will be in considering they have earned promotion?

It is only human nature that your focus might not be quite the same once you have achieved something you have been striving for for so long, but they do seem motivated by winning the title and the head coach won’t let them take it easy.

Have the team been celebrating/partying yet? Or is their attention fully on winning the title?

They had a big night out on Tuesday when promotion was confirmed but on Thursday they were back in training and focused on the game and winning the title.

Who should Rovers be most worried about?

Kieffer Moore and Cauley Woodrow both have 16 goals in the league. Moore has just come back from injury and could start for the first time in three months while Woodrow has five goals in his last six games.

Are there any injury concerns for Barnsley going into the game?

Jacob Brown, the right winger, looks like he will be out while central midfielder Kenny Dougall has been out for several months.

What's the likely line up?

(4-4-2) Davies: J Williams, Pinnock, Lindsay, Pinillos; Bahre, Mowatt, McGeehan, Thiam; Woodrow, Moore.

What's your prediction for the game?

Hard one to call but I’ll go with 2-1 to Barnsley.
