The players linked with Arsenal today including a World Cup winner and Kieran Tierney

As the transfer window draws to a conclusion, Arsenal are getting closer to making another addition to their squad.

Unai Emery has already signed Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba and Dani Ceballeros during the window, but the Nicolas Pepe looks set to become the newest face around the Emirates Stadium.

The confirmation of the signing is imminent, with the transfer thought to be costing the Gunners £72m, although the fee will be paid in installments to ensure that the club stick to their strict transfer budget this summer.

Pepe's imminent arrival has not stopped Arsenal being linked to other players today, with it likely that Emery will now be looking to strengthen his back line ahead of the upcoming season.

Here are the names that have been linked with a move to North London today.

Sami Khedira

Who? Juventus' central midfielder who has been linked with a summer move to the Emirates Stadium

Where? The 32-year-old was spotted at the Emirates Stadium yesterday, causing speculation that a move could be on the cards. Unai Emery though poured cold water on the rumours when asked about the links.

"Really, he’s a very good player but it’s the first time I’ve [heard] of him signing for us," he said.

What? With the Arsenal boss denying any links with the German international, it seems unlikely that this transfer is a goer.

Kieran Tierney

Who? The Celtic full-back who has been the subject of multiple bids from Arsenal this window.

Where? Tierney has also been linked with a move to Serie A club Napoli, and their manager Carlo Ancelotti was asked about his club's pursuit of the Celtic man.

"Am I aware of Kieran Tierney?" he said. "I know him and he is a really good player. He is a really good young left back but he is a Celtic player.

"We are looking for a lot of players for this coming season but he is a Celtic player and we have two good left-backs."

What? With Napoli seemingly out of the running, Arsenal could now have a free run for the Scotland international.

Wilfried Zaha

Who? Another target who has been the subject of bids by Arsenal this summer.

Where? According to Sky Sports , Everton are the latest club to make a move for the Ivory Coast international, making a bid of £55m to his club Crystal Palace. The 26-year old has also posted a cryptic message on social media suggesting that he is blocking all the noise of a potential summer move out.

What? With the arrival of Pepe it is unlikely that Arsenal will make another approach for Zaha, meaning that Everton are now favourites to sign him.
