The players linked with an Arsenal transfer today including a £54m double deal and Dani Alves

Are Arsenal getting closer to another summer signing?

Gabriel Martinelli is the only player to arrive at the club so far this season, and he scored on his first appearance as the Gunners beat Colorado Rapids in their first game of their pre-season tour of America.

Arsenal fans will be hoping to see more new arrivals come into the club and there have been a few that have been linked with a move today.

Here are the names in the frame today.

Dani Alves

Who? Experienced Brazilian full-back who has left Paris Saint-Germain following the end of his contract.

Where? According to Gary Stonehouse , the Brazilian star is prepared to take a pay cut to join Arsenal this summer.

The 36-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs already this summer, including Arsenal's north London rivals Tottenham.

What? Alves would offer a huge amount of experience in the backline for Unai Emery's side and on a free transfer would not eat into the club's meagre transfer budget.

Lucas Vazquez and Keylor Navas

Who? Real Madrid duo who have both been linked with Arsenal in the past.

Where? Reports in Spain have suggested that Arsenal are hoping to sign the pair for a fee of just £54million.

However, Arsenal are known to have a budget of just £45million, with £5.3m of that already spent on Gabriel Martinelli.

What? Vazquez would fill the forward role that Arsenal are keen to strengthen, while they are also in need of a new keeper with Petr Cech retiring, David Ospina leaving and Dejan Iliev going out on loan.

It seems unlikely though, with other targets in mind.

Kieran Tierney

Who? Celtic full-back who has been linked for much of the summer transfer window.

Where? Bhoys boss Neil Lennon is the one providing the update on this occasion.

The Celtic manager has told reporters that Arsenal have had a second bid rejected, and that he feels the player could be worth the same as Man United paid for Aaron Wan-Bissaka - £50million.

What? Arsenal know they have to up their bid to get their man, but they should get him for less than £50million.

Dani Ceballos

Who? Real Madrid midfielder who has been told he will not get the game time he wants at the Bernabeu next season.

Where? AS have reported that Arsenal are leading the chase for the 22-year-old this summer.

Ceballos has offers from the likes of Tottenham and AC Milan this summer, but AS say that the midfielder is 'one step away' from the Gunners.

What? It would be a loan deal for Ceballos, with a view to a permanent move, and that could work in Arsenal's favour, with a limited transfer budget at their disposal.
