The players linked with a Spurs transfer today including a Danish 'wonderkid' and one exit

The transfer window has been open for a while, with clubs starting to make moves in order to improve their squad ahead of the 2019/20 season.

Spurs are one of the club's who are expected to be involved in the wheeling and dealing that comes with a transfer window, and the Lilywhites have already been linked with a number of different names.

After two transfer windows without any players arriving in North London, it looks as though it will be a different story this time around as Mauricio Pochettino will look to build on the Champions League final appearance.

Taking that into account, here are the transfer rumours doing the rounds on Tuesday June 25th.

Toby Alderweireld

Who? The Spurs defender who is going into the final year of his current deal, with a £25m release clause coming into effect.

Where? Roma are reportedly eyeing up a move for the Tottenham Centre-back. Tutto Mercato Web report that the Italian club are looking up the possibility of bringing the Belgian to Serie A during the summer to replace outgoing defender Kostas Manolas.

What? Alderweireld is available for £25m during the summer due to his contract situation, however, it may take some persuading from Roma in order to convince the player to make the move due to the club's lack of Champions League final for the upcoming season.

William Saliba

Who? Saint-Etienne Centre-back who has been attracting the interest of Tottenham's North London rivals Arsenal.

Where? According to L’Equipe via GFFN, Spurs are in active discussions with the Saliba's representatives and are confident that they will be able to reach an agreement with the player.

What? It is reported that the defender's preferred location is the Emirates Stadium, and he has agreed provisional personal terms with the Gunners. It now comes down to who can agree a deal with the player's club.

Jean-Philippe Gbamin

Who? 23-year-old defensive midfielder who plays for Bundesliga club Mainz 05.

Where? The player's agent has confimed that he has held talks with a number of clubs, including Spurs.

"I had meetings with Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Everton and many other clubs. He is in the shortlist. However, not as a top candidate, because his exact position is unclear," the agent told Fussball Transfers.

What? It seems that the midfielder is not a priority for Mauricio Pochettino at this moment in time.

Andreas Skov Olsen

Who? A 19-year-old 'wonderkid' who plays in his home country of Denmark for FC Nordsjaelland.

Where? The Mirror claim that Pochettino is monitoring the winger, who has earned admirers across Europe, and will be available for around £15m due to entering the final year of his contract.

What? The Danish U21 has a lot of interest in him, but has admitted that a move to Danish Champions FC Copenhagen may not be possible. A move to the Premier League may be appealing to the teenager.
