Carlo Ancelotti believes that the profile of transfer that Everton need to bring to the club in the summer is clear ahead of talks in the next few weeks.
The Blues were active ahead of this season in bringing quality players to the club, and are expected to be in a similar position this time around, regardless of whether they can secure European qualification or not.
A number of key areas in the squad have been identified by supporters as priorities heading into the transfer window, with a winger being high on many lists.
And, when being asked about the plans for the summer, Ancelotti opened up a little more on what kind of profile Everton will be chasing as they look to add another wide player to their ranks.
The boss told his pre-Man City press conference: "The plan is quite clear. We have time to talk in the next few weeks on how to improve the squad.
"The plan is clear and also the profile of player that we need is clear for everyone, so we have to work on it.
"The profile is a winger that is able to score goals, is able to defend, that is able to sacrifice, that is able to put crosses in.
"This kind of player is not easy to find! But if you look at the market and the players around the world, there are really a lot of good players around the world."
Everton play their final match of the 2020/21 season against Man City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, before the transfer window opens on June 9th.
