Vehicle thefts have doubled in parts of Wales over the past five years.
Figures released by South Wales Police show that in the seven policing regions in Swansea, vehicle thefts have increased in five, but have actually decreased in two areas - Penlan and Gorseinon.
According to the figures, the biggest percentage increase was in the east of the city, where thefts have doubled over the past five years, increasing from 25 in 2014, to 52 last year.
The highest number of thefts was in the city centre region, where over the same period vehicle thefts rose from 62 to 99.

But in Gorseinon vehicle thefts fell from 31 to 23, and in Penlan the drop was from 50 to 36.
The total number of vehicles stolen in all seven policing regions of Swansea since 2014 was 1,534.

Vehicle thefts also fell in Port Talbot over the same period, from 42 to 39, but increased in Neath and Pontardawe, from 62 to 87.
Elsewhere in the South Wales Police region, the biggest percentage increase in vehicle thefts was in Cardiff Bay, where figures reveal that in 2014 there were 26 vehicle thefts. Last year, that had risen to 58, more than double.
Other places to witness increases are Barry, where the total has risen from 36 to 43, Bridgend, from 24 to 42, and the Vale of Glamorgan, from 30 to 57.
But Maesteg saw a reduction, from 49 to 43.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "South Wales Police has seen a marked increase in vehicle thefts in Western BCU (basic command unit - covering Swansea, Gower, Neath and Port Talbot) in recent years and we work closely with partners and the public to try and tackle the problem and bring offenders to justice.
"While many instances of theft are opportunistic, some are linked to criminals who target them for their high value or for the commission of further offences.
"As part of Operation Thintail, we work with partners including local authorities and the health board to try and improve parking security across Swansea and Neath Port Talbot, and we also work with motorcycle clubs, groups and retailers to raise awareness of the problem and to encourage vehicle owners to take appropriate crime-prevention steps to minimise the risk of falling victim to thieves.
"High visibility patrols have increased as part of the operation, and a number of high value cars and motorcycles have been recovered as a result.
"The public are urged to work with South Wales Police to tackle vehicle crime in the area; reporting any suspicious activity in or around houses, garages, car parks or vehicles in streets as soon as possible.
"Anyone with information about vehicle crime in the area is also asked to contact 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
