Having marked the eighth annual Record Store Day on Saturday 18 April, we’d like to see your photos of the places that have been made famous by album covers. Have you visited the location of your favourite album of all time? Perhaps you remember some striking album sleeves from your parents’ vinyl collection growing up, and have come across the locations years later?
Whether you’ve been to the now closed Walthamstow dog track as portrayed on Blur’s Parklife album sleeve, the residential blocks on St Mark’s Place, New York featured on Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti or the Astor Place subway station made famous by Billy Joel’s Turnstiles cover share your photos of the album sleeve locations you have discovered on your travels. We will use the most interesting contributions on the site.
