The Philadelphia Eagles are releasing a Christmas album and it kind of rocks

Everything’s coming up Philadelphia in recent weeks. The Phillies are in the NLCS. The Flyers have started the season 3-0-0. And the Eagles? They’re undefeated at 6-0 and recording a Christmas album on top of it all!

Yes, the Philadelphia Eagles, the football team, are releasing a Christmas album this holiday season for all Philly fans to enjoy. The seven-song album, titled “A Philly Special Christmas”, will feature Jason Kelce, Jordan Mailata, and Lane Johnson showcasing their vocal talents across a variety of popular Christmas songs.

Philadelphia fans were given a sneak peak of one of the tracks — “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” — on Wednesday and it actually kind of rocks!

Kelce, as always, remains one of the most charismatic members of this Eagles team. Not only that, beloved Eagles radio announcer Merrill Reese will perform a rendition of “The Night Before Christmas” as well, so there’s something for every Philadelphia fan with this album.

“A Philly Special Christmas” will release on December 23, with all proceeds going to Philadelphia’s Children’s Crisis Treatment Center.
