The show is jam-packed with everything from adorable human interest stories to vet advice and tips to a different celebrity guest with their dog.

The celebrities compete in a Best in Show competition to earn themselves and their dog a spot on the celebrity leader board as they go head to head with other celebs who will compete in later shows.

There are eight episodes of The Pet Show, which started on October 31 and air weekly on Sundays, and other presenters on the show include Patrick Aryee and vet Dr James Greenwood as they solve pet problems.

Each episode is just under an hour long and introduces viewers to all aspects of owning a pet, including the weekly 'Pet of the Year' competition that looks at animals who have done something incredible.

Speaking about the show Joanna said: "I'm a lover of all animals and can not wait to meet many of them whilst filming this series. I also get to work with the brilliant Dermot O'Leary, I'm just so excited to be a part of this show."

Currently, Joanna is pregnant with her fourth child and this is not the first time she will be joining a show as a presenter, as she also presents Shop Well For Less alongside Melanie Sykes.

Joanna has however stated that she has not left acting forever and that she is planning to both act and present.

The Pet Show is on ITV on Sundays.
