COVID-19 is considered to have been suppressed in 27 of 35 Perth and Kinross neighourhoods.
The seven-day infection rate had dropped to its lowest since October 19 on April 4 when it was recorded at 36.9 per 100,000 people.
It had went up slightly to 38.8 by April 5, but that is still down from 42.1 the week before.
The virus is considered to be suppressed if less than three cases are recorded over a week.
The neighbourhoods with only one or two recorded cases in the week up to April 5 are: Stanley and Murthly; Rannoch and Aberfeldy; Scone; Powmill, Cleish and Scotlandwell; Pitlochry; North Muirton and Old Scone; Muthill, Gleneagles and Greenloaning; Moncreiffe and Friarton; Milnathort and Crook of Devon; Luncarty and Dunkeld; Kinross; Invergowrie, Longforgan and Abernyte; Guildtown, Balbeggie and St Madoes; Glenfarg, Dunning and Rhynd; Gannochy and Walnut Grove; Errol and Inchture; Crieff South; Crieff North; Coupar Angus and Meigle; Comrie, Gilmerton and St Fillans; Burghmuir and Oakbank; Bridge of Earn and Abernethy; Blairgowrie West; Blair Atholl, Strathardle and Glenshee; Auchterarder; Alyth; Aberuthven and Almondbank.
Just seven neighbourhoods are recording three or more cases in the past week: North Inch; Viewlands, Craigie and Wellshill; Blairgowrie East (Rattray); Central and South Inch; Western Edge; Hillyland, Tulloch and Inveralmond; Muirton; Letham.

Meanwhile, there were no COVID-19 deaths recorded in Perth and Kinross last week.
Data from the National Records of Scotland showed the number of deaths related to the coronavirus in the region has remained static at 250.
It is only the second time since the week starting October 19 last year that no deaths have been recorded, with the other being the week beginning March 15.
