'The perfect team!' - Spurs fans love what Mauricio Pochettino has done for Ajax semi-final tie

Mauricio Pochettino has named a very strong team for this evening's Champions League semi-final clash against Ajax.

Jan Vertonghen, who had to come off injured following a nasty clash with teammate Toby Alderweireld in the first leg, is back in the starting XI after missing out at Bournemouth on Saturday, with Son Heung-min also back from suspension.

There is some more good news for the team with Erik Lamela returning on the bench following his recent hamstring injury.

Trailing 1-0 from the first leg eight days ago following Donny van de Beek's first-half goal, the Lilywhites must win in Amsterdam if they want to progress to the Champions League final to face Liverpool.

Barcelona had looked certain to be in Madrid on Saturday, June 1 after their 3-0 win last week, yet it was the Reds who progressed after an incredible 4-0 win at Anfield.

Spurs will themselves be hoping to comeback from their defeat in the first game and they should have more opportunities on goal following the return of Son from suspension.

As Pochettino really does have limited options available at present with Harry Kane and Harry Winks injured, supporters are very pleased with the team put out by the manager.
