The Pavarotti partnerships

Luciano Pavarotti will perhaps be best remembered for the 1990 World Cup theme tune, or numerous Three Tenors concerts, but he was also involved in some of music's more bizarre double acts.

To opera buffs he was the best tenor since Enrico Caruso. But Caruso never got to sing My First, My Last, My Everything with Barry White, or It's a Man's World with James Brown.

Then there was Ave Maria with Bono, Perfect Day with Lou Reed; O Sole Mio with Bryan Adams; New York, New York with Liza Minelli: and most wierd of all Come Back to Sorrento with Meat Loaf.
