The Patriots have lost the same amount of games this decade as the Browns did in 2 seasons

There are no NFL teams more polar opposite than the New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns. This remarkable stat shows you how much distance there is between the franchises:

The New England Patriots came into the 2019 season with a record of 113-31-0 in the 2010s. That number 31 should resonate with Cleveland fans, who know their beloved Browns lost the same number of games — 31 — over the course of the 2016 and ’17 seasons. Cleveland went 1-31-0 over those years.

Consider this, too: The Browns have won 97 games since they were reborn in 1999, including a pair in 2019. So Cleveland is 20 victories shy of what New England has done in this decade alone. When you factor in the Patriots’ 4-0 start in 2019, they have 117 victories.
