The Panthers tried out a running back, linebacker and wide receiver at kicker after an injury

The hits just keep on coming for the Panthers. They’ve had quarterback problems, injury problems, coaching problems and now a kicker problem going into their game against the Buffalo Bills.

Starting kicker Zane Gonzalez was apparently injured prior to the game, leaving the Panthers shorthanded in the kicking department right before kickoff. They’ll probably end up using punter Lachlan Edwards, but they also had some alternative solutions just in case.

A linebacker, a running back and a wide receiver are apparently the emergency options for the Panthers today if they need an option.

Nothing has been easy for the Panthers this year and it looks like it’s just going to get harder.

Just go for it on every fourth down, your season is already over. Who cares.
