The owner of an award-winning cafe in Nottingham will be saying farewell to customers next month.
Chris Slocombe has run the Little Deli in Carrington for just over three years but he has decided to sell up to look for a new challenge.
After building up a reputation for legendary sausage rolls, cracking breakfasts and great Sunday roasts, the neighbourhood cafe, in Hucknall Road, has attracted customers from as far afield as Southwell and Long Eaton as well as locals.
Last October the Little Deli won the award for Best Cafe in the 2019 Nottinghamshire Live Food and Drink Awards.
Chris made the announcement on Facebook saying: "We have come to the decision to sell our lovely cafe to look for a new challenge. We will be leaving the deli at the end of March.
"There is still time for you to come and get your little deli fix for the next month and show us some love before the deli begins its next chapter so pop on down and support your local cafe!
"We have met some amazing people on this journey that I am sure we will stay in contact with."
Customers will be sad to see him go.
