Standard issue back-from-the-dead scares ahoy in this grieving parents chiller, which gestures toward the likes of Don’t Look Now and Audrey Rose but falls far short of either. Sarah Wayne Callies is an American mother in Mumbai who visits a remote temple to contact her deceased son, and unwittingly opens the door to the undead. Creepy screamy faces and accompanying loud noises are employed to jumpy effect, but a few shivers aside, this remains ghost-train fare – mostly mechanical and largely unsurprising.
