The Osbournes now - terrifying health woes, affair revenge and 'forgotten' sister

The bizarre and hilarious antics of legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, his wife Sharon and their children Jack and Kelly had fans captivated in MTV's hit fly-on-the-way show, The Osbournes.

It became the channel's most watched show of all time, and paved the way for other reality classics including Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

And as the family let us watch their silliest moments and blazing rows, the fascination over their lives would remain, decades after The Osbournes finished in 2005.

Because the drama never ceased for the clan, who publicly battled life-threatening illnesses and drug addiction, physically transformed in front of our eyes and even announced a divorce which was then scrapped.

As youngest son Jack turns 36 today, let's take a look at where the Osbournes are now - including lesser known sister Aimee.

Following his time on The Osbournes, Jack carved out an acting career, starring in Dawson's Creek, That 70's Show and New York Minute, a film with the Olsen twins.

He then turned his hand to reality TV with a focus on gruelling physical challenges, taking part in Celebrity Wrestling: Bring It On! and Extreme Celebrity Detox.

Jack created a documentary about his father Ozzy called God Bless Ozzy Osbourne, directed one of Ozzy's music videos and starred in a travel series with him called Ozzy & Jack's World Detour.

After battling drug and alcohol addiction as a child, Jack has been sober for an incredible 17 years, and his father actually credits him with helping him do the same.

Explaining how Jack was pivotal in his recovery, Ozzy said: "I had a row with Jack. I had to talk business.

"And I said, 'What have you ever f**king wanted? I’ll give you whatever you want.'

"He says, 'What about a father?' That kicked me in the b***s so hard. It knocked me sideways. I went, 'Oh, my God.'

"I’d give whatever materialistic things they ever wanted. But the most important person wasn’t there."

Jack married actress Lisa Stelly after just four months of dating in 2012, shortly after welcoming their first child, a daughter named Pearl.

In 2013, the couple announced the heartbreaking news that Lisa had miscarried their son, Theo, during her second trimester.

Their next daughter, Andy Rose Osbourne, was born in June 2015, and their third daughter Minnie Theodora followed in February 2018.

But the couple made shockwaves when they announced three months later that they were splitting up.

Addressing the unexpected split in a joint statement, the pair told fans that they had tried "everything" to make their relationship work, but had realised they're better off as co-parents and friends.

The following year, Jack was reportedly brutally attacked by a stranger in a coffee shop in Los Angeles who hit him in the head.

Sources told TMZ the police were called in and found the attacker, who struggled against the cops and needed to be tasered.

Jack claimed on SiriusXM’s Jim and Sam Show: "All of a sudden, a fist appeared in my face... I threw my coffee and swung a chair at him.

"He rattled off something, like, ‘F you, M.F.ers’ and all that. I was, like, 'All right.’ And then a cop came."

No further details emerged on whether or not the man was ever charged.

In 2012, Jack announced that he had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis after experiencing blindness in one eye, numbness in both legs, and problems with his bladder, bowel, and stomach.

He travelled to Europe for stem cell therapy as well as taking daily injections of medication and hormone replacement therapy which he says keeps the illness at bay.

Jack called his diagnosis the "scariest moment of my life" but explained he had very few symptoms aside from the odd tingle down his leg and the occasional bout of fatigue.

Kelly Osbourne

After a highly-publicised battle with addiction which started in her teens, Kelly, 37, went to rehab seven times and to a mental institution twice.

She said she then swapped drugs for food which led to insecurity over her weight, but managed to shed six stone in recent years.

Her dramatic weight loss began when she dropped two stone while competing on Dancing With The Stars in 2009, but once her stint finished she struggled to keep the weight off.

So in 2012, she embarked on a vegan diet and cut out drinking, before undergoing gastric sleeve surgery.

Kelly also explained she'd had injections to change the shape of her face and make her jaw look "skinnier", after suffering with temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ) which causes pain in the jaw.

This along with some lip injections has totally transformed Kelly's face, with some fans branding her "unrecognisable" when she posted a series of stunning selfies on Instagram - so much so, she had to deny getting plastic surgery.

The star also recently opened up on a relapse she had suffered with her drinking during lockdown after four years of sobriety.

"I am an addict and had thought that I had enough time under my belt and I could drink like a normal person, and it turns out I cannot and I will never be normal," she said.

"I don’t know why I even tried it. It’s not for me and it took me a matter of days and I was like done, not doing this."

Kelly credited her then-boyfriend Erik Bragg with helping her get back on track, but months later the pair split after a year together.

Cinematographer Erik hinted that things were amicable, however, when he told US Weekly: "Kelly rules. That's it. That's all."

Kelly was a judge on Project Runway Junior, hosted Fashion Police alongside Joan Rivers, starred on The Masked Singer US in 2019 where she was the Ladybug, and played Mama Morton in a stage production of Chicago.

She sparked fierce controversy in 2015 when discussing Donald Trump's anti-immigration policies on talk show The View.

"If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?" Kelly asked.

This sparked backlash as her fellow panelists and viewers pointed out it implied Latino people only worked menial jobs.

"There's more jobs than that in the country for Latinos, and Latinos are not the only people who clean toilets," co-host Rosie Perez said.

Kelly backtracked and insisted that wasn't what she meant, before writing a lengthy apology on social media which read: "I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions. In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologise for being a racist as I am NOT.

"I whole-hearted f**ked up today. I don’t want to bulls**t anyone with lame excuses. Although, I was stopped mid-sentence by Rosie and couldn’t finish my point I will not let Rosie take responsibility for my words. I should have known better as I was on The View and it was live.

"I’ve learned a very valuable lesson. It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole. By the way I clean my own f**king toilet."

Sharon Osbourne

Matriarch Sharon carved out a successful career as a TV competition judge, sitting on the panels of The X Factor and America's Got Talent, as well as her very own albeit brief chat show, The Sharon Osbourne Show.

She also appeared as a panelist on talk show The Talk until March 2021 when she was embroiled in a heated row with co host Sheryl Underwood live on air, which led to her departure.

The spat came after Sharon defended Piers Morgan's comments about Meghan Markle in which he implied she was lying about her mental health battle, and Sheryl suggested that Sharon's defence of her pal could be seen as defending a racist.

There was a fierce backlash as viewers called for Sharon to resign after 11 years on the programme - with Page Six claiming she pocketed "a $5 to $10 million minimum payout".

Sharon told the Mail on Sunday she felt "mentally beaten up" and had received death threats against her, her family and her dogs.

She also called any insinuation that she is racist "insane" and "not true".

Sharon and Ozzy's 39-year marriage has endured many challenges, including Ozzy's affair in 2016, which led to the pair briefly splitting before reuniting and renewing their vows that same year.

Ozzy admitted that he had been "terrified" that wife Sharon would leave him over the affair and described his cheating as "another fix".

"If you’re a junkie like I was, anything that alters your mind, you go for. I didn’t love any of these people," he said, before revealing Sharon snipped the sleeves off all his coats in a revenge bid.

Explaining her reasons for forgiving her husband's indiscretion, Sharon said on Loose Women: "When you’ve spent 40 years with someone who you absolutely adore, you’ve built a life together, you work together.

"Every single thing about my husband, you know every part of their body and what they really feel about you. Yes it’s happened a lot with my husband and I feel if he had an emotional attachment to another woman that’s when there is no saving a marriage.

"But if it’s just whatever she did, whatever you did to her, next, don’t even know the name… see you, bye."

She even said she felt partially to blame for Ozzy's infidelity.

"You do look at yourself and say, ‘What was my part in this? How have I been in the last few years with my partner? Have I given him the emotional support? Have I boosted his ego?'" she said.

"And the answer was, I hadn’t. I had been away working a lot."

Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy's Parkinson's diagnosis shocked his fans in 2020 (sharonosbourne/Instagram)

Black Sabbath star Ozzy shocked the world when he revealed in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease after suffering a fall the previous year and then an operation that went wrong.

He explained: "It's been terribly challenging for us all.

"I did my last show [on] New Year's Eve [2018]. Then I had a bad fall. I had to have surgery on my neck, which screwed all my nerves."

He said he was now on medication for Parkinson's and nerve pain following the surgery, and recently admitted he even feared he would never perform on stage again.

He revealed: "I now have a date for when I have my surgery on my neck.

"When I saw this guy he said 'The first guy didn't do a very good job'. He is not telling me that he can put me back to normal, which is no excuse.

"He says he can do this and that and do my neck.

"The way it is now I ain't very encouraged. What if it gets worse?"

He added: "You know what even top guys make mistakes. And I am a bit gun shy after the first one. I am just hoping and praying that I can at least do a f***ing show."

Speaking about Ozzy's Parkinson's, Sharon explained: "It's not a death sentence but it affects certain nerves in your body. You have a good day, a good day, then a really bad day."

Kelly also explained: "It’s really strange how this works. There are some days where I would walk in this house and I’m like, 'There’s absolutely nothing wrong with him,’ and you think, 'Oh my god, he’s going to be great. We’re going to be leaving for tour next month.'

"And then you come back the next day and nothing has happened but it’s like, he can’t feel his arm and he can’t get off the couch."

Rocker Ozzy previously told Variety about his decision to get sober seven years ago when he realised he was being "selfish".

Sharon told the publication how she feared Ozzy would never get sober following several rehab stints, but Ozzy explained that he gave it his all when he saw his "kids needed him."

The Prince of Darkness shared: "You realise the kids have got this fear in their eyes. I mean, it’s a very selfish disease. My kids needed me."

Sharon and Ozzy are also currently working with Sony Pictures to create a script detailing their love story, with Sharon teasing in a statement: "Our relationship at times was often wild, insane and dangerous but it was our undying love that kept us together.

"We’re thrilled to partner with Sony Pictures and Polygram to bring our story to the screen."

Aimee Osbourne

Aimee opted not to appear in hit MTV reality show The Osbournes (Instagram)

The rarely-seen third sibling in the Osbourne clan, Aimee opted not to star on the reality show that made Jack and Kelly household names.

She moved out of the family home at the age of just 16 as she wanted to keep her life private.

Aimee, 38, went on to become a singer like her dad, also landing some small acting roles including voiceover work in Postman Pat: The Movie.

Sisters Aimee and Kelly lived next door to each other after Kelly bought the house next door to Aimee for $2million (£1.4million) in 2014.

But they both put their homes up on the market for a loss in the following year, admitting they just didn't get along.

Aimee told The Independent: "I wouldn't say there is an ease between us, but there is an acceptance. Do we socialise? No."

Speaking about the public perception of her refusal to do the MTV show, Aimee added: "I'm not some weirdo depressed daughter that's afraid of the world and locks herself in her room all day; I just didn't choose to do the show.

"I want to be a singer, and I felt if I'd stayed with the Osbournes and done the whole thing I would have been typecast right away."

She admitted mum Sharon was "hurt" by her decision, but Aimee simply felt she is "more reserved" than the rest of her family and valued her privacy.

Speaking on Dax Shepard's podcast, Armchair Expert, Kelly confirmed that she and her sister "don't talk".

Asked why, Kelly explained: "We’re just really different. She doesn't understand me and I don't understand her."
