Browns fans were sad to see the end of the annual Orange and Brown scrimmage at FirstEnergy Stadium last year. The glorified practice at the end of training camp gave fans a chance to see the team in the stadium in a game-like atmosphere.
The team didn’t hold the scrimmage last year, an unpopular decision. Hearing the fans wanted it back, the Browns resurrected the family-friendly event.
This year’s Orange and Brown Scrimmage will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 3rd at FirstEnergy Stadium. Tickets will be $5 and proceeds go to the Cleveland Browns Foundation “Get to School” campaign to encourage school attendance.
It’s a great opportunity to see the team and the stadium for fans who otherwise could not make it to a game.
