The Open Championship 2019 tickets – are there any left?

With sports stars from across the world getting set to jet into Northern Ireland for The British Open at Portrush next month, there are going to be the hottest tickets in town.

So what's the low-down - are there any tickets left?

We'll get the bad news out of the way first.

According to website The Open, tickets for Championship Days are sold out.

But all is not lost, because you can still sign up to get yourself on the waiting list. If any tickets are returned, organisers will contact people listed there.

And for super golf fans, there's still a chance to catch a glimpse of some of the action, with tickets still available for all four practice days from Sunday July 14 until Wednesday July 17. Availability is limited on July 16-17.

Tickets start at £5.

Juniors go free - but organisers have warned everyone needs a ticket to gain access, so make sure you have a ticket in advance for any Under 16s.

The Open runs from July 18-21, and for the lucky ones already set to make it, there's still time to book some seriously swanky hospitality packages to make the most of the experience.

Don't travel unless you've got a ticket.
