The 148th Open Championship is at Royal Portrush this year as the historic golf course welcomes the best golfers in the world to Dunluce Links.
The crowds have flocked to county Antrim to see 2019 US Masters winner Tiger Woods and stars such as Brooks Koepka and Jordan Spieth in action across the weekend.
Hometown hero Rory McIlroy leads an Irish contingent from both north and south including Darren Clarke, Graeme McDowell, Shane Lowry, Padraig Harrington and amateur James Sugrue.
All the action got underway on Thursday morning when Clarke struck the first ball at 6:30am and it's already been an exciting Open as the very best vie for the final major of 2019.
