The one thing Marco Silva needs to improve after Everton's best performance of the season

George Gibson, Northwich

West Ham was the best we have played all season.

Every time we got the ball in the first half it looked like we could score, whilst at the back we never gave them an opportunity.

We were aided by how open and blunt West Ham were, but there have been many occasions we’ve played against poor sides and not taken advantage.

All that was missing on Saturday was a top quality striker who could have turned two goals into four or five. That is not to take anything away from Dominic Calvert-Lewin. For me, the jury is still out on him, but at West Ham he was excellent in his movement and ability to bring others in.

Lee Molton, St Helens

What a brilliant performance from the Blues on Saturday against a good West Ham side. We made them look very ordinary as we pressed them from the start.

Gomes and Gueye were terrific in midfield and Bernard had a great game too. Coleman is playing great at the moment as well. We attacked with pace but also made it very difficult for the Hammers to create anything.

We now welcome the Gunners and I fancy us to take the three points with the confidence that we are playing with. Let’s continue our good run by getting another win and try to finish the season in seventh.

Connor O’Neill, City Centre

Saturday’s performance was Everton’s best so far this season.

The most complete 90 minutes under Marco Silva, the only criticism any Blue could have was that we didn’t win by a much bigger margin.

If we’d have walked away with a 5-0 win on Saturday, no one could have complained.

The issue now for Silva and his side is to maintain the standards set at the weekend.

Too many time this season we’ve failed to kick on and build any momentum.

But now, with seventh within touching distance, Silva’s side should be going all out to finish the season strongly.

Tommy Gillan, Whiston

A great all round team performance and well deserved win at West Ham – could have been five or six.

Confident, commanding and creative. Pleased to see Coleman and Gomez are starting to regain their form, and Calvert-Lewin is developing into a great striker. Once he gains more composure with his finishing we can expect a lot more.

Now that we have found a way to repeat quality performances, we should continue to climb the table. However, I would be happy with eighth place as I don’t think it would be beneficial to qualify for the Europa league.
