The One Show's Alex Jones snapped at one of Bridgerton's biggest stars after she let slip a spoiler about the hit Netflix series.
Described as some fans as 'Gossip Girl with corsets', the stylish yet sassy new period drama has had quite an impact since its launch, with Twitter awash with reactions of those immediately hooked.
The series sees the close-knit siblings of the Bridgerton family look for love and happiness in London high society with Daphne at centre of the plot due to her surprising and confusing relationship with Simon, Duke of Hastings.
Daphne is played by Phoebe Dynevor and she appeared on Thursday's One Show to talk about the massive success of Bridgerton, which has been streamed by over 70 million homes within weeks of its release.
Phoebe, daughter of Coronation Street actress Sally was discussing the relationship between Daphne and Simon, telling Alex: "She's about to make her debut, she's all about finding a husband and being a perfect debutante.
'Simon is very much against it all. He really doesn't conform to this world. I think, obviously, they form a pretend attachment- I hope I'm not giving too much away."
But, Phoebe did just that as then added: "I think they can be themselves around each other and they are allowed to be themselves around each other and that’s what leads to them eventually fall in love, even though they might not have realised."
And it was that reveal that caught Alex off guard and she shouted: "They fall in love? What? Phoebe I’m only in episode three!"
She then joked: 'Mind you it's not surprising, I'll be honest, that Duke? Well done."
Bridgerton quickly became known for some of its rather risque content and opening up on what it was like to watch those scenes with her soap star mum and other relatives, Phoebe explained: "I had to watch it with the whole family so I could stand by with the remote so I could fast forward the naughty bits.
"So yeah, we watched it together, but I had to stand by at all times.'
