The one question Tottenham must quickly find an answer to before Liverpool & Man City drift away

Spurs will be looking to bounce back in style on Sunday when they travel across north London to face Arsenal.

Recording four points from a possible six after beating Aston Villa and drawing with champions Man City, the team slipped to a shock defeat against Newcastle United.

Steve Bruce's side took the lead through Joelinton in the first half and then held firm at the back to collect an unlikely three points after a disappointing start to the season.

Many Premier League teams will come to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and do exactly the same over the course of the season as Spurs are now seen as one of the best teams in the league.

Harry Kane believes it's something the team must quickly find an answer to as they struggled to find a way past the Magpies despite practically having all the ball.

"I think we've got to learn that teams are going to come here and if they get an early goal they will defend and make it tough, so we need to have the answers to that really," said Kane.

"Obviously we'd like to go ahead and go 1-0 up or 2-0 up and finish the game from that point of view but that's not always the case.

"When it gets difficult and into those tight moments in their half we need to find more answers, so that's all of us what we can work on and that's what we've got to try and do."

Tottenham have a kind run of league games at home over the next couple of months with Crystal Palace, Southampton, Watford, Sheffield United and Burnley all to come.

However, they may all turn out to be very similar games to the Newcastle defeat as the visitors will look to remain strong at the back and leave N17 with some points in the bag.

Seen as games the team must win if they want to keep pace with Man City and Liverpool in the title race, Kane has stated they will look to address the issue and improve ahead of Sunday's trip to the Emirates.

"Obviously winning the first was great and getting a point away at City is not a bad result," he added.

"This is where we needed to step up and if we want to be up there come the end of the season these are games at home you have to win.

"We've got a week now until another big game on Sunday and we'll have to address it and see what we can do better to improve and go from there."
