Everton have skillfully found some great success in the transfer window in years gone by.
While positive results are not always an exact science, when the Blues foray into the market and get it right - the results are brilliant.
This has been proved with some incredible players arriving to display their talent in front of the Goodison faithful in the Toffees' recent history.
Generally it is in the summer when a good deal of the transfer work is done, after the notion of the transfer window was put in place in 2002, and so picking one summer transfer window as Everton's best ever is tricky.
However, the ECHO asked Blues fans to do exactly that on Tuesday and the result was clear.
Supporters strongly voiced their belief that the summer of 2007/08 when Yakubu, Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka, Tim Howard and Steven Pienaar all put pen to paper was hands down the most positive.
Hayley Williams said: "07/08 hands down."
Geraint Leicester wrote: "07/08, all legends."
Ryan Sangster simply commented: "Feed the Yak!"
While Les Short said it was an "easy" decision to choose 07/08.
Scores of other comments listed the 07/08 summer transfer window as the best in recent Everton history too and it was a landslide victory.
Other summer transfer windows that received a notable mention were the 2018/19 season when Richarlison, Yerry Mina, Lucas Digne, Kurt Zouma, Andre Gomes and Bernard arrived while 2013/14 was highlighted for the incomings of Romelu Lukaku, James McCarthy and Gareth Barry.
The 2004/05 summer transfer window was also mentioned for Tim Cahill and Marcus Bent due to the Blues finishing fourth the following season.
