The one area Mauricio Pochettino & Spurs could really punish Man City in during Saturday's clash

Pep Guardiola could potentially shuffle his pack against Tottenham on Saturday given the wealth of options he has available to him.

Sergio Aguero started on the substitutes' bench against West Ham last weekend with Gabriel Jesus preferred upfront, while Bernardo Silva had to watch on from the sidelines for the full encounter with the manager not choosing to put him on.

New signing Joao Cancelo could be one of the players to come into the starting XI following his move from Juventus prior to the transfer deadline if Guardiola elects to rest ex-Spurs man Kyle Walker.

Although he couldn't find his best form in his one year in Turin, the Portuguese international is incredibly highly thought of after his excellent performances during his time at Valencia.

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville knows all about him from his time managing the 25-year-old at the Mestalla and he believes that he will be "phenomenal" for City.

Mauricio Pochettino: My original plan did not work against Aston Villa

However, he did point out that Cancelo is very rarely seen in his right-back position during a game because he loves to get forward and help the team in attack.

That could certainly benefit Mauricio Pochettino's team on Saturday evening as Spurs look to cause a big shock at the Etihad Stadium and build on their opening day win against Aston Villa.

"I absolutely love him to bits. To be fair, when I was at Valencia I wanted [Manchester] United to sign him, at the time they could have got him for £25m and he went to Inter Milan,” Neville told Sky Bet’s Big Premier League Debate (via Manchester Evening News).

"Cancelo is perfect for City. He’s a winger, a goalscorer, assist maker, he’s a right-back! You’re going to lose a bit defensively in terms of a back four because he’ll never be there, I promise you that.

"The coach before and after played him at right winger. I always played Cancelo, I absolutely loved him - his professionalism, his enthusiasm for the game, he’s really intense, trains like you wouldn’t believe.

"He’s a brilliant signing for City. He probably wouldn’t do as well at other clubs with more of a rigid back four but for City he will be phenomenal."
