The Olympics are coming!

It's true, you know. How can I tell? Because in my local mini market this morning there was a man in a suit with a 2012 logo badge pinned to his lapel, buying a copy of the Guardian. I am tempted to invest this occurrence with deep emblematic significance. But would that be wise or justified?
