The OKC Blue will host the Stars in the G League playoffs on Tuesday

After finishing with a 34-16 record in the regular season, the third-seeded Oklahoma City Blue will host the sixth-seeded Salt Lake City Stars in the first-round of the G League playoffs on Tuesday.

The first three rounds of the G League playoffs are single-game elimination while the G League Finals are a best-of-three situation. The Blue lost to the South Bay Lakers in the first round last season.

The Blue were led by the likes of Scotty Hopson, Bryce Alford, Richard Solomon and Dez Wells for the majority of the year while two-way player Deonte Burton was a big part of the success of OKC, as well.

Of course, the Thunder have since signed Burton to a standard NBA deal as the rookie became one of the best players in the G League this season and was named to the Midseason All-NBA G League Team.

The matchup between the Blue and Stars is set to tip off at 7 p.m. CT at the Cox Convention Center and it can be seen on Twitch. The Blue went 3-0 against the Stars this season.

ESPNU will televise the Conference Finals and Games 1 and 3 of the Finals.
