‘The Office’ musical parody, Kathleen Turner solo show headed to Chicago

Golden Globe Award-winning actress Kathleen Turner will bring her one-woman autobiographical show “Kathleen Turner: Finding My Voice” to the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place for two nights only, Nov. 15-16, as part of the Broadway in Chicago’s off-season series.

The production features anecdotes from the actress’ life combined with hits from the Great American Songbook. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. October 4, at broadwayinchicago.com

Also in the series is “The Office! A Musical Parody” (April 28-May 18, 2020) at the Broadway Playhouse, 175 E. Chestnut), based on the hit TV series and featuring all your favorite employees of Dunder Mifflin.

In addition, other shows in the series scheduled for engagements at the Broadway Playhouse include comedians Robert Dubac’s Off-Broadway hit, “The Book of Moron” (Feb. 25-March 1, 2020) and Lisa Lampinelli’s “Losin’ It!” (June 16-28. 2020); “The Choir of Man” (April 14-19. 2020); and “Men Are From Mars — Women Are From Venus Live!” (Feb. 11-23, 2020).

Return Chicago engagements include “Riverdance 25th Anniversary Show” (Feb. 4-9, 2020) at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph); and “Waitress” (May 19-24, 2020) at the CIBC Theatre (18 W. Monroe).
