BBC pundit Garth Crooks has heaped praise on the influence of Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.

The 23-year-old has impressed since arriving at the City Ground from Wolves last summer. He has scored five goals alongside registering seven assists during his debut season at the Reds.

His performances in a Forest shirt have played a key role in their successful survival bid with Steve Cooper's side securing their Premier League status for another season with a game to spare.

And Crooks has praised the Reds' "extraordinary resilience" whilst also highlighting the influence of Gibbs-White.

He told BBC Sport: “Forest have shown extraordinary resilience, especially in the latter part of the season and none more so than Morgan Gibbs-White.

“His enthusiasm for the game and sheer will to win has spread through the team like wildfire.”

Forest end the season on Sunday away at Crystal Palace as they look for just a second away win in the league this season.
