A Nottingham building society is to close its Mansfield branch for two weeks next month.
The Nottingham will close its branch on Stockwell Gate, Mansfield to customers on September 10 for a fortnight.
For the two weeks that the Mansfield branch is closed The Nottingham has advised customers to use branches in nearby Sutton, Hucknall or Eastwood.
It will be closed for refurbishment as it undergoes a refit which will end on September 24.
This will make the site similar to Wollaton's branch of The Nottingham.
When completed the branch will be a Covid-19 secure and compliant environment that includes integrated protective screens, hand sanitising facilities, guidance on distancing, electronic door locks that can be utilised to control customer flow and the building society’s involvement in the NHS Test and Trace programme.
There will also be a designated, furnished space for community use and a range of products and services including savings accounts, mortgage advice and estate agency services.
As well as additional offerings including funeral planning, financial advice and home insurance.
