Schools across Northumberland are to close on Friday due to the coronavirus outbreak.
As the virus continues to spread across the country, some schools are struggling to run as normal due to staff shortages.
Some staff members are self-isolating following the Government’s new advice leaving schools understaffed.
The Government has said all schools will close from March 20 until further notice.
There are currently no school closures.
