The non-essential shops still to open in Liverpool this week

Non-essential stores across the country reopened their doors yesterday after weeks of lockdown, though selected stores still remain closed.

The reopenings were met with huge queues and hour-long waits yesterday, with the likes of Primark, Sports Direct and Zara taking the brunt of it.

While thousands of retailers reopened after finally getting the green light from the Government, some have elected to keep their lights off and their doors closed.

Last week, Liverpool ONE confirmed its reopening timeline , with several stores opting to take an extra few days to return to the high street.

So while shoppers could finally make the trip to Zara, there’s more of a wait for shops such as Dr Martens and Morphe.

We’ve taken a look at all the latest updates from shopping centres in Liverpool to see which shops we can expect to see reopen this week.

Liverpool ONE

Dr Martens - June 17

Strand Shopping Centre

Shush - June 18

The Works - June 19

New Mersey Retail Park

Oak Furnitureland - June 17

More announcements are expected in the coming weeks, with reopenings expected into August.
