The nominees for SFWA Manager of the Year are announced

The shortlist for the Scottish Football Writers' Association William Hill Manager of the Year award have been revealed.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is among the four nominees.

The Northern Irishman is joined on the prestigious list alongside Aberdeen's Jimmy Thelin, Hibernian head coach David Gray and Falkirk title-winning manager, John McGlynn.

The latter was named the PFA Scotland Manager of the Year at their recent awards ceremony in Glasgow.

He will be aiming to win another award to add to an already hugely successful season.

The SFWA is due to be held on Sunday, May 18 upon the conclusion of the regular domestic season.

Callum McGregor and Daizen Maeda make up Celtic's representation on the Player of the Year shortlist.

Meanwhile, Lennon Miller of Motherwell, James Wilson of Hearts, and Kilmarnock duo Bobby Wales and David Watson are all nominated for the Doubletree by Hilton Young Player of the Year.
