The nine-figure fee Canelo will make from Crawford and Saudi fights revealed

  • Boxer Canelo Alvarez is scheduled to defend his undisputed super-middleweight titles against Terence Crawford in Las Vegas on Saturday, 13 September.
  • This fight is Canelo's second on a four-fight deal with Saudi Arabia, with two further bouts planned for 2026.
  • Saudi boxing matchmaker Turki Alalshikh has indicated that Canelo's overall contract with the Kingdom is valued at more than $100m.
  • Both Canelo and Crawford weighed in at 167.5lb, just under the super-middleweight limit, ahead of their highly anticipated clash.
  • For Crawford, the fight is an ambitious venture, as he moves up two divisions to challenge Canelo, aiming to become the first three-weight undisputed champion of the modern era.
