The NINE commandments SPFL players could face as uncompromising checklist is laid bare

Norway's return to football training has been announced, giving SPFL clubs a fascinating insight into how sessions might look in a coronavirus addled world.

Returning stars must adhere to nine ultra-strict new rules that restrict most of what would ordinarily constitute a normal day's work for Premiership clubs.

The Scandinavian country have become one of the first nations to offer up a glimmer of hope for the future, after the deadly worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, by allowing their clubs to train again.

But they have demanded nine different set of rules before they can get back on the pitch and they include no heading, no tackling and no goalkeeping.

Scottish clubs have been banned from training after the SFA warned them to halt all activity, but the Norwegian FA have given their clubs the go ahead...with several catches.

Norwegian FA general secretary Pal Bjerketvedt said: "We are delighted our football pitches are once again open for business. It's up to individual clubs to decide whether to return.

"But the prerequisite for training is that the infection control rules are complied with and here we have a responsibility to ensure this is done within the regulations.

"We have therefore created simple and clear rules for football that the clubs will use."

The nine rules are:

*Only one coach can train a group;

*A maximum of four players can train in a group;

*All players must stay two metres away from each other;

*Tackling and contact is not allowed;

*All balls must be disinfected before training;

*The ball is not allowed to be headed or handled;

*Training equipment may only be handled by one coach;

*Dressing rooms can't be used by more than one person at a time;

*Every player must thoroughly wash their hands before and after training.
