Michael Oliver will be the man in the middle when Leeds United play their first Premier League game for 16 years.
The Whites return to the top flight of English football for the first time since 2004.
They couldn't have been handed a more ominous opener however - they travel to champions Liverpool on Saturday night.
The Reds go into the game defending an outstanding domestic record at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp's men haven't tasted defeat at home in the league since way back in April 2017 - a run of more than three-and-a-half years.
But the last time they had Oliver refereeing one of their matches saw them fall to a stunning defeat.
That came in February, when they were easily swatted aside by Watford, losing 3-0 at Vicarage Road.
That was just one of three defeats all season for the Reds and came as a bolt from the blue in what was their first setback of the campaign.
For Oliver, the game will be the first Whites' match he has officiated since February 2016.
Incidentally, that was also against Watford in an FA Cup fifth round tie at Vicarage Road. The hosts won 1-0 that day to reach the quarter-finals.
Oliver is widely considered one of the top officials in England. Still extremely young at just 35, he has been in charge of countless Premier League and Champions League games as well as the FA Cup Final.
