The NFL world was convinced Julio Jones didn’t know he was on TV when Shannon Sharpe called him

Julio Jones made a staggering admission on-air on Fox Sports’ “Undisputed” on Monday. The Atlanta Falcons receiver suggested he expected to get traded: “I’m out of there.”

As the comments went viral (along with a video capturing the TV segment), people began to wonder: did Jones even know he was on television? Did he think the conversation was private? He was surprisingly candid, and the hosts Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless did not make it immediately clear they were on TV. Only at the end of the conversation — after Jones suggested he expected to get traded — did Sharpe mention they were on air.

Yikes!

The host, Jenny Taft, tried at one point to clarify with Jones that he was on TV. But Bayless made zero efforts. That led much of the NFL world to question the methods from the folks on “Undisputed.”

So, what do you think? Did they trick Jones into divulging information? Or did he have a good sense that he would be on TV?
