The NFL world reacts to Marshawn Lynch rejoining the Seahawks

Beast Mode is back.

Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks agreed on a deal late Monday night that will bring him back to his former team for Week 17’s pivotal matchup with the San Francisco 49ers and then the playoffs.

This is all so wild and happened so quickly after the Seahawks lost their top two running backs – Chris Carson (hip) and CJ Prosise (arm) – in Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals.

Lynch played in Seattle for 5 1/2 seasons and helped lead the team to a Super Bowl title. He played six games for the Raiders last year and then stepped away from the game.

Now he’s back… and who knows how much he’ll be able to give the Seahawks on the field, though he has been working out to get ready. You have to believe that just his presence alone will pump up the team heading into a game that will decide the NFC West title.
