The NFL is selling orange Dolphins jerseys and they are very ugly

Consider this an official warning — if you love your Dolphins and don’t wish to see them in a way that will forever change the way you see their uniforms, just close the tab and continue about your day none the wiser. The NFL Shop has introduced an “inverted” Minkah Fitzpatrick jersey in their Dolphins section. And it looks hideous.

This isn’t dissimilar to the “orange creamsicle” color rush jerseys that the Dolphins last wore back in 2016 against the Cincinnati Bengals — except these are worse. Those 2016 jerseys, as you may recall, were compared to push-pops, traffic cones and Tang. This 2019 edition goes heavier on the orange and aqua.

Thankfully, the inverted jersey is only available with Minkah Fitzpatrick’s name on the back, so an upcoming pandemic of orange jerseys doesn’t appear to be something Dolphins fans need to be worried about at Hard Rock Stadium in 2019 and beyond.

Meanwhile, some of us are still waiting to get more options for Miami’s 2019 white throwbacks — only Minkah Fitzpatrick and Kenyan Drake are available in the team’s online shop. Can we get a little help, Miami?
