Newcastle United caretaker boss Ben Dawson has promoted some of the club’s youngsters to the senior squad.
Dawson has called up Mo Sangare, Thomas Allan and Nathan Harker to the senior end of Benton for pre-season training.
Sangare has impressed under Dawson in the U23s while speedy forward Allan had a good campaign with the second string last year and is rewarded with a call-up by his old reserve boss.
Harker has been involved at this level before of course, but starts the summer as understudy to senior stoppers Martin Dubravka, Rob Elliot and Karl Darlow.
