The Newcastle United XI supporters want to see for Premier League clash with Wolves

Newcastle United return to St James’ Park after a month-long hiatus looking to bounce back from a run of poor defeats on the road. The Magpies have not played on home soil since March 5 but do so in their next three fixtures against Wolves, Leicester and Crystal Palace.

A 5-1 drubbing suffered against Tottenham Hotspur last Sunday could force Eddie Howe to freshen his side up against the Premier League’s surprise package tonight. Wolves travel north knowing a win will see them leapfrog Manchester United and West Ham into sixth spot.

Conceding five goals last weekend has not deterred ChronicleLive readers from selecting the same backline again, with Javier Manquillo, Dan Burn, Fabian Schar and Matt Targett in front of Martin Dubravka between the sticks.

In midfield, Joe Willock is included despite Howe confirming that the 22-year-old is carrying a knock. Speaking ahead of the game, he said : "Joe Willock has a slight knee problem. It's been there for a couple of weeks so we will make a late call on him, I don't think it's anything serious." Those who voted want Bruno Guimaraes to start in midfield instead of Jonjo Shelvey - not Willock.

A toothless Toon attack struggled to lay a glove on Spurs and have not scored from open play in over five hours. Even the return of talisman Allan Saint-Maximin last weekend failed to inspire an impotent frontline but supporters have opted to field the same trio again.
