Jonjo Shelvey has tipped Newcastle United team-mate Martin Dubravka to earn a 'massive move' to a 'top European club'.
The Slovakia international goalkeeper joined Newcastle in January 2018 and has quickly established himself as a fans' favourite at St James' Park.
The 31-year-old has arguably been Newcastle's most important player across that period and has won the club points on his own with some miraculous saves.
His performances have made an impression on his team-mates as well and when naming a one to 11 of the best players he has played with during his career, Shelvey selected Dubravka above former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
Last summer saw the former Sparta Prague goalkeeper linked with moves to Juventus and PSG but while he remained on Tyneside, Shelvey feels he will eventually move to a team in that mould.
"He come in two years ago and I don't think he has missed a Premier League game," Shelvey told the In The Box podcast.
"He has been literally outstanding. He is such a great shot-stopper and he is a great vocal person in the dressing room.
"The first game he played was against Man United. We beat them 1-0 at St James' and he was unreal. I just thought: 'Who's this cat?'
"He had obviously come for cheap money and I do eventually think he will get a massive, massive move to a top European club.
"He is such a great lad as well around the dressing room."
He continued: "I know football and I watch a lot of football. I had never even heard of him but he has literally turned up and there is an aura about him. He has got that bit of class.
"He is the first one in the gym and the last one to leave. He does everything properly by the book and I don't, so he has been superb.
"I can't speak highly enough of him."
