The Newcastle pizza restaurant slashing prices to help Geordies during cost of living crisis

A Newcastle pizza restaurant is slashing prices in a bid to draw in Geordie diners during the cost of living crisis.

Pizza Punks on Grey Street is offering a range of deals to help customers save money in the face of rising prices. The meal deals branded 'kill the bill,' will run throughout the week, including 'c heap date Mondays,' bottomless brunch, late night pizza, and two-for-one cocktails.

The chain said it is taking a stand by refusing to hike up prices in the face of soaring inflation and instead it is introducing "inflation-busting" pizza and cocktail deals.

Pizza Punks founder Brad Stevens said: “The rising cost of living is crippling the people of Britain and I believe we owe it to the loyal customers that keep us afloat to set realistic and fair prices. Kill The Bill goes beyond this – it is good quality pizza and cocktails that save our customers money every day and they have a good time whilst they're here, with friendly service and good music.

"This is what Pizza Punks was born for, a need to rip up the rule book – unlimited toppings at one price. We’re taking on the machine, we won’t be hiking up prices we here to stick a pin the inflation and deflate prices with Kill The Bill.”

The daily deals include bottomless brunch which features unlimited cocktails paired with any pizza or pasta. The deal, which is available from 11am to 3pm and until 5pm on Sundays, is £31.50 for 90 minutes.

'Cheap Date Mondays' offers diners two pizzas and two beers for £22. Thursday’s see the 'Thank FCK it’s Thursday' deal offering two sides, two pizzas and a bottle of wine for £39.50. Meanwhile, the late-night pizza deal serves up pizza and four cocktails for £25, on Friday and Saturday, from 9pm. The restaurant is also offering two-for-one cocktails every day.
