Possible post-lockdown rules for the workplace have been revealed by the BBC.
New rules could include staggering shift times and maximising employees who work from home.
Many businesses and employers have had to drastically alter the way they operate in the wake of the government's preventative lockdown which was introduced on March 23.
But now, the BBC says a draft government plan to ease anti-coronavirus restrictions urges employers to minimise numbers using equipment, maximise home working and stagger shift times.
The prime minister will reveal his "roadmap" out of lockdown on Sunday, instead of Thursday as previously believed.
Lockdown restrictions will still be reviewed this Thursday, though many officials have said measures will not be lifted immediately, with any plans set to be phased to help prevent a second peak.
During the daily press briefing on May 3, Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove reiterated such sentiments and said the UK would not be "flicking a switch and going... back to the old normal".
Like other officials, he suggested there would be "a phased approach... which allows us to monitor the impact that those changes are having on public health".
The transport secretary Grant Shapps has also said workplace times could be staggered.
The draft strategy seen by the BBC also says additional hygiene procedures, physical screens and the use of protective equipment should be considered where maintaining social distancing of 2metres between workers is impossible.
Though the BBC reports the section marked PPE has limited information, simply saying "more detail" will follow.
