The new Welsh-specific calculator that tells you when you're likely to get the vaccine

A new calculator is giving people in Wales an idea of when they will be vaccinated by.

Using a series of basic questions the website can tell you roughly when you should expect to get your first shot in the arm.

The data is based on the Welsh Government's planned rollout timeframe, which aims to give jabs to all 740,000 people in priority groups one to four by February 14.

The next target is that all over-50s will be vaccinated by spring and all other age groups will get their jabs by the autumn.

You can use this calculator to work out when your jab will be ready:

You can also customise the calculator to see when you would get the jab if the vaccines are administered faster/slower than planned.

Who made the calculator?

The tool was made by physicist Steven Wooding from the website Omnicalculator. He previously made one for the whole of the UK but this one is tailored specifically for Wales.
