The New Saints set up glamour tie with FC Copenhagen after Champions League heroics

The New Saints set up a meeting with Danish giants FC Copenhagen after a stunning 1-0 away victory over Feronikeli in the Champions League first qualifying round in Kosovo.

Substitute Dean Ebbe scored within two minutes of coming on to help TNS on their way to a 3-2 aggregate victory in Pristina.

Feronikeli had scored two late goals to scrape a draw in the first leg at Park Hall - denting the Welsh champions hope of progressing.

But in a nervy encounter at the Stadium Fadil Vokrri, Ebbe's second-half header ensured it is the Saints who will face the Danish champions.

Their home leg with FC Copenhagen is due to be played on 23 July - with the trip to Denmark on 31 July.

This is the eighth successive season that the Saints have appeared in the Champions League qualifiers.
