The new films out on NowTV, Amazon Prime and Netflix this weekend

The sun looks set to grace us with its presence once again this weekend.

But after a day out at the local park or sunbathing in your back garden, you may want to know what telly you can dive in to.

If series are you thing, it is probably likely that you have completed most of them considering we have been subject to lockdown for many months.

So, it's a good job there's a whole load of new films for your viewing pleasure - the big question is, which are you watching first?

NowTV, Amazon Prime Video and Netflix still have plenty more to offer this week with plenty of new releases and all time favourites added.

To help you navigate the streaming services a little more easily, here are the new films this week.

Netflix

The Devil All the Time

Thriller film set in post-Second World War Ohio, following a range of characters each reacting to the damages and disturbances they faced during the war.

Michael McIntyre: Showman

Not a film as such but Michael McIntyre talk family, technology, sharks, accents and the time he confused himself for a world leader in this stand-up special.

The Smurfs 2

The perfect family film, the Smurfs are back for a second big-screen outing and team up with their human friends to rescue Smurfette, who has been abducted by Gargamel.

The Smurfs 2 is also out this weekend (Dumfries Standard)

Darlin'

Darlin' has been living feral in the woods with her new mother, communicating only in grunts and eating human flesh to survive. But when the local bishop decides to try and civilise her, her mother sets out to bring her back into the fold, unleashing hell on the inhabitants of the local village.

The Gentlemen

This 2019 film sees an American expat try to sell off his highly profitable marijuana empire in London, triggering plots, schemes, bribery and blackmail in an attempt to steal his domain out from under him.

Antebellum 

Not for the faint-hearted, this horror sees successful author Veronica Henley find herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it's too late.

Gemini Man

Will Smith stars as an over-the-hill hitman faces off against a younger clone of himself.
