The new Bristol Rovers game which is perfect entertainment for fans in isolation

We're all trying to find ways to entertain ourselves during the suspension of the football season.

Some have turned to Football Manager or FIFA, some have turned to marble racing (a brief phase) and others are wallowing in a sport-less hole.

Bristol Rovers have now taken it upon themselves to keep fans entertained by releasing a new game where users play as Jonson Clarke-Harris and try a kick a ball into boxes of various sizes.

Rovers released the game last night and fans have already racked up huge scores as they entertain themselves.

Fans click once to start a power bar going up and down and click again to determine the power of the shot before kicking it.

Points are scored if the ball lands in the target - five points if the ball lands in a bin, 10 if it lands in a box and 15 if it lands in a trophy, with the game being over if it misses three times.

The high score currently stands at a whopping 640 points, followed by scores of 580, 570 and 520.

Fans aren't just playing for fun either, with Rovers announcing that the person at the top of the table on April 30 (the day football is supposed to return ) wins a special prize.

The club tweeted to say: "You can now play the 'Bristol Rovers Top Bins Challenge' game and battle it out to top the leaderboard to win a signed shirt and a trip to watch the first-team train!"

You can play the game on mobile, tablet or desktop. Click here to give it a go.

If you're looking to get involved in a game of Football Manager 2020 but don't have the game yourself, we've started a career and with the help of fans are taking Rovers through the current season.

So far, fans have decided to sign a former Cardiff City midfielder and a striker to support Jonson Clarke-Harris up front.
