There’s luxury camping and then there’s glamPIG.
A company is offering people the opportunity to spend the night sleeping inside a giant pink pig.
The new listing on Airbnb is offering the alternative version of glamping, reports SomersetLive.
The wooden pod is fully portable and the owners will deliver it to a location of your choice.
Owned by cider makers Orchard Pig, the unusual accommodation comes complete with all the essentials for a night under the stars, including sleeping bags, barbecue necessities and a case of ice-cold pink cider.
Rhona Fyfe, brand manager of Orchard Pig, said: “Everyone loves a taste of the countryside, but we know its not always easy to get to, and the old-school camping experience isn’t always glamorous.
“That’s why we’re turning glamping into glamPIG – bringing flavours of the farmlands to wherever you desire, complete with sleeping bags, facilities and of course plenty of Orchard Pig Pink cider to quench your thirst."
The pod can fit up to 12 people comfortably, meaning there's room inside for the whole family.
And if you fancy more of a staycation than a getaway, it can be parked in your very own garden.
The wooden pig house is available for selected summer dates on Airbnb - though its price per night has not yet been revealed.
