All eyes were on Kevin Durant ahead of Monday night’s Game 5 of the NBA Finals at Scotiabank Arena.
The two-time NBA Finals MVP had missed the past month with a calf strain and seemed to be far away from a return to the court. Yet, the past few days have seen a dramatic turn in Durant’s status, and with the Warriors down 3-1 in the series against the Raptors, Durant was ready to give it a go.
He arrived to the arena just shy of two hours before game time. Just as his pre-practice walk was analyzed by NBA fans, everything from Durant’s demeanor to movement got instant analysis from NBA Twitter.
